Razorfish, a New York-based i-shop, has launched Tolerance.org for the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit group based in Montgomery, Ala., dedicated to fighting hate, intolerance and discrimination through education and litigation. The site is meant to bring the issues of hate and tolerance in America to parents, teachers, children and communities.

In addition to developing the site, Razorfish created a content management system that includes current events, activities for all ages and knowledge-sharing resources. The Cisco Foundation and Cisco Systems Inc. provided funding and networking equipment, while Yahoo! has pledged to promote the site heavily on the Web. Other supporting companies include MTV and HBO.
