Six semifinalists have emerged in the review for creative and media duties on Raytheon Co.'s $15 million advertising account.
Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Warren, Mich.; Doremus & Co., New York; Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston; Keiler & Co.; Farmington, Conn.; McCann-Erickson, Los Angeles; and Stackig Advertising & Public Relations, McLean, Va., were chosen from the 25 shops that returned initial materials, said consultant Skip Pile, president of Pile and Co. in Boston.
Finalists will be chosen in December; a decision is slated for January. The Lexington, Mass., defense contractor has reserved the option to keep some tasks at four-year incumbent Ingalls Advertising, Boston, which also keeps recruitment and interactive chores. Ingalls is not participating in the review. --David Gianatasi
