Rattle Launches Brigham's Ice Cream Bars

BOSTON Rattle Advertising this week introduces work in the greater Boston market promoting Brigham's Ice Cream Bars, a new product from the 89-year-old company.

The campaign consists of radio, outdoor and newspaper ads, as well as packaging and related materials. The radio spots feature voiceovers by former Saturday Night Live star Laraine Newman, soap opera actor James Horan and others.

The goal: create "a family-oriented, fun campaign," according to Brigham's director of marketing, Darrylyn Lesikaukas.

The new tagline "It's not just ice cream. It's Brigham's" is designed to "reflect the incredible loyalty New Englanders have for the brand," said Rattle copywriter Joey Baron.

Annual client spending through the Somerville, Mass., shop is estimated in the mid six figures.

Joe Higgins served as creative and art director; Baron and Rich Swietek wrote the copy.
