CALIFORNIA

Finishing studio Steele VFX in Santa Monica appointed Monique Eissing to the post of Henry artist. Eissing, who has been with the company since 2001, formerly was lead Mac artist and assistant Henry artist; she has worked on spots for Lexus, Saturn, GMC and Burger King, and on music videos for artists including Britney Spears.

Integrated-marketing agency Di Zinno Thompson in San Diego promoted general manager Tammy Haughey to president. Haughey joined the company as an intern in 1991. Tom Di Zinno, the agency's former president, becomes chairman.



CONNECTICUT

Mintz & Hoke elevated Marco Milheiro to account executive. In his new post at the Avon agency, he will oversee the day-to-day management and execution of communications programs for clients such as Certainteed, Pratt & Whitney and Wiremold. Milheiro had been an account coordinator at the shop.



FLORIDA

Viva Partnership installed Patricia Daumas as senior creative director. Prior to joining the Miami shop, Daumas was an independent contractor for Kia Motors, where she worked on national and local dealer TV and radio campaigns. She also was a senior creative director at La Agencia de Orci in Los Angeles, working on the American Honda and Allstate Insurance accounts.

Starmark International named Luiz Duarte vice president of market intelligence. Before joining Fort Lauderdale-based Starmark, Duarte was director of marketing research at Sony Pictures Television International in Miami.



ILLINOIS

Jeffrey Stelmach arrived at 141 Worldwide as an executive vice president in experiential marketing, working out of the Chicago office. Stelmach formerly was vice president of client services at Entertainment Marketing, creating on-premise programs for Brown-Forman.



LOUISIANA

Logan Marketing & Communications promoted associate creative director Gwynn Levy Torres to creative director. In addition, the New Orleans shop hired Dominique Irvin and Allison Zatarain as public relations assistant and account coordinator, respectively. Irvin, a recent Northwestern State University graduate, had interned at New Orleans City Park; Zatarain was a media planning assistant at Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif.



MASSACHUSETTS

Modernista! in Boston hired Christine Kiernan as a production assistant. She had been with Clarke Goward in Boston for three years as a traffic and production manager. In addition, Pam O'Brien joined Modernista! as a traffic supervisor. Prior to Modernista!, O'Brien spent four years as a traffic manager at Allen & Gerritsen in Watertown. She also has worked at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston.



MISSOURI

Dan Barker arrived at LandaJob Advertising Staffing Specialists in Kansas City as manager of new business development. He had worked in marketing and public relations for the Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League. The shop also promoted Elisa Haake to temporary staffing manager. Haake, who has been with LandaJob for four years, will be responsible for filling temp positions in creative and marketing and recruiting freelancers within the advertising industry.

Waylon Advertising hired Neal Ryan as a group account director on the St. Louis shop's Anheuser-Busch account. Ryan was formerly a partner and management director at J. Walter Thompson in Chicago, working on the Miller Genuine Draft and Foster's Lager accounts.



NEVADA

Dawn Maiorano launched Maiorano Media Group in Las Vegas, where she will serve as partner and strategic media director. Maiorano is the former vice president and director of media at Merica Agency/Outback Media in Las Vegas, where she oversaw strategic marketing plans for local businesses such as Cox Communications, Fashion Show Mall and Summerlin.



NEW JERSEY

William Elkins joined The Star Group in Cherry Hill as partner and senior vice president, interactive. Most recently, Elkins was chief operating officer and vice president of consulting services for Rila Solutions, an Internet and wireless development company with offices in New York, London, Paris and Bulgaria.

OHIO

The Creative Department in Cincinnati hired Mike Adams as vice president and director of interactive. Most recently director at CoActive Marketing Group, Adams also will be active in new-business endeavors, oversee budget and client relationships, and work on branding and database capabilities. Also joining the shop are Michael Lupariello as associate creative director, Gregg Meade as senior art director and Galite Silverman as junior art director.

Christopher Lance was named a media coordinator at the Powers Agency in Cincinnati. Lance had been a project manager for Critical Mass Media/Clear Channel radio stations in Cincinnati.



PENNSYLVANIA

LevLane Advertising in Philadelphia hired Paul Reiter as account manager. Formerly an account executive at Garfield Group Public Relations, Reiter handled accounts such as W.L. Gore, Princeton Softech and Switchboard.com. He most recently led the Arrakis Records account, managing tours, publicity, radio play and licensing for the independent label.



TEXAS

Austin-based SicolaMartin appointed Jeff Joiner senior art director on the BMC Software and Freescale Semiconductor accounts. Joiner had worked in the same role at The Strausberg Group in Santa Monica, Calif. In addition, the shop hired Susan Snyder and Meghan Murphy as senior marketing communications writer and assistant e-marketing and media manager, respectively. Snyder formerly served in a similar role at companies such as Vignette, Tivoli and Texas Instruments; Murphy arrives from Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia in Austin, where she was an account assistant.

Witherspoon Advertising & Public Relations in Fort Worth named Adele Krause production manager. Krause arrives from Stuart Bacon Advertising & Public Relations, where she was a traffic manager.



WASHINGTON

Aura Davis was appointed public relations coordinator at Seattle-based Purdie Rogers. Davis will work with clients such as Staron by Samsung, MonierLifetile and Cedar Valley. A recent graduate of the University of Washington, Davis interned with Vandenberg Public Relations in Seattle before joining Purdie Rogers.
