NEW YORK Interpublic Group's Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos is among four shops set to make strategic presentations this week to Tyco International in the company's search for an agency to handle its estimated $50 million account, sources said.
The client is expected to cut to two, said sources. Competing along with Boston-based Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos are Omnicom's DDB and TBWA\Chiat\Day and WPP Group's Young & Rubicam in New York.
Separately, two finalists are vying for corporate identity duties: Omnicom's Interbrand and IPG's Futurebrand, both in New York, sources said.
The winning shops will help the troubled manufacturing and electronics conglomerate, based in Hamilton, Bermuda, but with most functions handled out of Exeter, N.H., launch its first global image campaign. That work is slated to appear in the fourth quarter.
