Doner chief media officer Fred Sattler will join Omnicom’s PHD in Detroit as general manager, effective Oct. 11, the agency said. In the new post, Sattler, 48, will report to Mike O’Malley, president of PHD in Detroit, who took that post in May. Sattler, who has worked at independent Doner in Southfield, Mich., since 1999, also had stints at Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\ Day in San Francisco and Playa del Rey, Calif.
