WASHINGTON XM Satellite Radio said it has inked a content deal to give Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions its own channel on XM beginning in September.

Oprah & Friends will feature original programming from Harpo Radio, including regular segments hosted by popular personalities from Oprah’s TV show, her magazine and an exclusive original weekly reality show with Oprah and Gayle King.

“Oprah Winfrey is a prolific force in our culture whose unprecedented achievements in television, film, publishing and philanthropy will bring an amazing radio experience to the XM nation of subscribers,” said Hugh Panero, president and CEO of XM, in a statement.
