BOSTON Northlich in Cincinnati, in recent years one of the Midwest’s quickest-growing and most active independents, has a new CEO and owner. Kathy Selker has bought out Mark Serrianne, who served as the shop’s chief executive for 10 years.

Selker, who had been COO, now becomes president and CEO. Serrianne, who joined the agency in 1974, will serve as chairman. Selker is an 8-year Northlich staffer. Last year, she led the shop’s acquisition of Columbus, Ohio-based Interative Ink in order to boost its new-media capabilities.
