Mullen last week was eliminated from contention for Trex Co.’s $3-5 million advertising account.
The Winchester, Va.-based manufacturer of high-end artificial lumber has selected The Richards Group in Dallas, Campbell-Ewald in Warren, Mich., and Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis to make final presentations early next month, said Judy Neer, an official at review consultant Pile and Co. in Boston, which is overseeing the search.
