LOS ANGELES Just weeks before Las Vegas kicks off its much-hyped centennial celebration, independent Horizon Media has been tapped by event-promotions company AEG Live to keep Celine Dion’s “A New Day” show in the public eye, the agency said.

Horizon’s Los Angeles office will handle all media planning, buying and promotions for the Chrysler-sponsored Caesars Palace show. The agency is headquartered in New York.

Named after her 2002 album, “A New Day Has Come,” the show’s opening marked the French Canadian diva’s return to the stage after a lengthy break.
