Mullen Wins $3-4 Mil. ODG Business

ATLANTA Interpublic Group's Mullen has been chosen to handle advertising and marketing for the 2007 launch of Four Seasons Ocean Residences, a cruise ship with permanent dwellings being built through a joint venture between Four Seasons Hotels and Ocean Development Group, the agency said.

The annual budget for marketing the ship is $3-4 million, said Neal Rubin, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Miami-based ODG.

Mullen bested independent Dana Communications of Hopewell, N.J., in the final round of a review. There was no incumbent.

The campaign will launch during the second quarter and include print, direct mail and e-mail advertising, in addition to a new Web site, public relations and promotions.

Mullen will provide all the work from its Wenham, Mass., headquarters, including media planning and buying.

The Four Seasons Ocean Residences will have 96 living quarters that range in price from $4 million to $17 million. The ship will continuously cruise worldwide, Rubin said. ODG plans to add more vessels after selling all the residences in the current project, he said.
