Goetz to Direct Creative Group
BOSTON--Copywriter George Goetz has left Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos here to join Mullen in Wenham, Mass., where he becomes one of six group creative directors.
Goetz will partner with group CD Andrew Lewis and oversee clients such as Nextel, Agfa, Northern Light, Federated Investment, Money magazine and possibly others, according to Mullen executive creative director Edward Boches.
Goetz, who was said to be vacationing last week and could not be reached for comment, joined Hill, Holliday in 1995 after 12 years at Ingalls in Boston. He has worked on Adesemi, Budget, Dunkin' Donuts and others.
Boches believes Goetz brings the ability to deliver award-winning work while effectively leading the eight or so art directors and copywriters who will report to him. --Judy Warner
