TEXAS Adrienne Pulido, a 12-year veteran of Bromley, Aguilar & Associates in San Antonio, has been appointed chief operating officer of the agency. Jessica Pantanini has been promoted to vice president and media director. Kim Bunch has advanced to vice president and executive producer of broadcast productions. GSD&M in Austin has hired Marianne Malina as account supervisor for the Steel Alliance. She was formerly a senior account executive at Cole & Weber. Melinda Jones comes to the agency from TBWA Chiat/Day, Dallas, becoming senior media buyer in the Dallas office. She will work primarily on the DreamWorks, Pacific Bell and Wal-Mart accounts. Loren Stalcup joins the agency's M Group as project director. Heather Forshay and Ashley Andy have been promoted to account supervisors on Wal-Mart and Business Development, respectively. Coley Platt has progressed from account manager to account supervisor on Pennzoil. Mark Ray has moved up from senior writer to associate creative director on the Southwest Airlines, Wenner Media and the Country Music Association accounts. Gene Brenek has been promoted from senior art director to associate creative director on Southwest Airlines. Mike Woolf, previously a senior writer, has progressed to associate creative director on the Macaroni Grill and SNET accounts. Juan Perez, previously associate creative director, is now creative director on Macaroni Grill and SNET. Haley Rushing has been promoted to senior marketplace planner. Becky Nash has been named account director on the Southwest Airlines account. Stuart Bacon has designated Will Burdette junior copywriter. Burdette had previously worked for the Fort Worth-based agency as a freelance writer, editor and proofreader. Larry Shannon has joined Witherspoon & Associates in Fort Worth as vice president of public relations. Shannon formerly served as president of FirstStrategy.com and as director of investor relations at Arch Petroleum. He was also chief of staff to former U.S. House Speaker Jim Wright. Amy Love has joined The Atkins Agency in San Antonio as media marketing manager. Love was previously with Arnold Communications in Detroit. Phil Risley has arrived at Atkins as computer systems administrator. Jeff Venglar has been promoted to director of information services. Ward Communications in Dallas has added Kelly Cooper, formerly with Spots Plus, as media buyer. Alejandro Alvarez has joined the agency as media assistant from Countrywide Home Loans. Joining Haynes Media and Marketing in Houston are Tim Dillard, formerly creative director with Freed Advertising, as principal, and Chuck Arnold, formerly director of sponsor services with the Houston Aeros hockey team, as director for client services. Lin Productions in Arlington has welcomed Jeff Klein as director of marketing. Klein is executive director of the Texas Association of Film/Tape Professionals. In San Antonio, EHR Design has promoted Jayson Boulet to production manager and Web services specialist.
