FLORIDA Maria Prado has been hired as marketing director for The Shops at Sunset Place, an open-air retail and entertainment center in South Miami. Lydia Gilmore has been brought aboard as general manager. St. John & Partners in Jacksonville has hired two account executives and promoted a public relations staffer. Krista Hazen and Christen Hollinger will oversee corporate accounts and new business, respectively. Rosa Herrera has advanced to assistant account executive from account coordinator. Karen Bonsignori has rejoined Roberts Communications in Tampa as account executive. Bonsignori was most recently responsible for marketing an educational outreach program for the National Inventors Hall of Fame in St. Louis. Prior to that, she was an account executive at Roberts for six years. Clarke Advertising and Public Relations has hired four staff members. Senior account executive Erin Doran, senior art director Michelle Qualley-Branham, publicist Amie Haer and copywriter Matthew Lockwood have joined the Sarasota shop. Cook Marketing Direct, a new subsidiary of Jacksonville's Cook Marketing Communications, has designated Terry Chancellor manager. Chancellor is charged with development and management of direct marketing services for new and current clients of Cook. GEORGIA Sawyer Riley Compton in Atlanta has hired Missy Moon as senior public relations counselor and Penny Kemp as account supervisor. Jennifer McPeak was elevated to senior account executive. Moon will oversee SRC's public relations activities and manage the Columbus Regional Healthcare System and National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence accounts. Kemp, who comes from The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., will manage team and strategic planning for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel account. Idea Associates in Atlanta has hired Kelly Crutcher as account manager. Third Millennium Communications in Atlanta has named Mary Goode executive vice president of business development. Goode will be responsible for expanding the company's Internet consulting and e-commerce activities. Crawford Communications in Atlanta has assigned Dianna Costello to direct business development for its post-production operations. John Durkee, who has spent 22 years in the healthcare marketplace, has joined Adair-Greene Healthcare Communications in Atlanta as director of new business. Durkee will provide strategic direction on regulatory, medical and marketing communications issues involving the agency's roster of healthcare clients. MARYLAND Harvey & Daughters in Cockeysville has named Jerry Bray chief operating officer. Eisner, Petrou & Associates in Baltimore has appointed Paula Chase-Hyman account supervisor. NORTH CAROLINA Wray Ward Laseter has chosen Sue Tatge director of interactive services, a new division of the Charlotte company. Bolt in Charlotte has added Shari Farrell as business development manager. TENNESSEE Brenda Harkness and Allison Jones have joined the staff of Sossaman Bateman & Associates in Memphis as office manager and art director, respectively. Following several new business wins, The Buntin Group has made a pair of hires and promoted seven staffers. New employees are account executive Jody Wylie and account administrator Marianne Marty. Promoted at the Nashville shop were account executive Brad Groves, assistant account executives Ty Meredith and Lora Mitchell, operations manager Adam McGee, field account representative Eric Goricki and senior media buyer Michelle Laflin. Sandra Goldberg also progressed to operations coordinator for Buntin's out-of-home media division. VIRGINIA Thurston Chapman & Associates in Richmond has added account executive Cheryl Harper and copywriter Elizabeth Hewlett. KSK Communications recently welcomed Caryn Allender as its new creative services manager. Previously, Allender served as a production supervisor for America Online. Stephanie Moyer has also joined the Vienna-based company as a copywriter. WASHINGTON, D.C. Laughlin, Marinaccio & Owens has signed Michael Taylor as broadcast producer. He had been at Disney and Touchstone Pictures, where he assisted on campaigns for Dead Poets Society and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
