ARIZONA Cramer-Krasselt's Phoenix office has hired Mary Burns as an account supervisor, assigned to its U S West and Arizona Republic accounts. HAWAII Honolulu-based Milici Valenti Ng Pack has made the following new hires: Helen Hanohano, account executive; Kristy Bertsch, manager of direct marketing; Stephanie Gallagher, account coordinator; and Kimberly Katahira, assistant account executive. IDAHO Encinitas, Calif.-based Quill Communications has opened a satellite office in Boise and hired Ron Crump as senior account executive. NEVADA Bernice Bamburak was recently promoted to senior copywriter and Jordan Robins to junior art director at Dunn Reber Glenn Marz Advertising and Public Relations in Las Vegas. Scott Mortimore and Ed St. George recently set up shop as Tribe Advertising in Reno. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Miller/Kadanoff/Huber Direct & Interactive in San Francisco has hired Allegra Nye Gaeth as account supervisor; James Kowalski as art director; Todd Moritz as senior interactive producer; and Madeleine Churchill as senior art director. The agency also promoted Gloria Beck to director of operations. Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco has promoted three executives: Jon Steel, the agency's director of strategic planning, has also been named a vice chairman; Harold Sogard has been promoted from director of account management to general manager; and Robert Riccardi has been promoted to director of account services. Sandra Lewitt Dorman has been appointed director of marketing services at The Bailey Group in Berkeley. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Carol Foster has been promoted to the new position of senior vice president of The Townsend Agency's emerging technologies group. Foster will supervise the San Diego agency's account teams and marketing communications programs. The Los Angeles Times has promoted Renƒe LaBran to vice president of new business development. W-3 in Los Angeles has promoted longtime account executive Christine Harmel to director of client services. The Web design firm has also appointed Clint Brauer and Malinee Churanakoses account executives. Sarah S. Qutb has joined TBS Media Management's San Diego office as senior account manager. TTA/Newport in Newport Beach has named Leslie McAllister an account director. Creamer Dickson Basford in Irvine has hired Jennifer Romano as an account coordinator.
