IDAHO Hanna & Associates in Coeur D'Alene recently promoted Wayne L. Assmussen to general manager. In addition to his new duties, Assmussen continues to serve as vice president of strategic planning. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA The Montgomery Group, San Francisco, promoted Jennifer L. Giambroni to account supervisor and added three new staff members: account executive Bryan M. Smith, assistant account executive Meredith E. White and account coordinator Kristine E. Canada. San Francisco agency Goldberg Moser O'Neill has made several staff changes and additions. In the broadcast production department, the agency promoted Chris Gunnarson to broadcast operations manager and Rita Ribera to producer and hired Gregory Silva as broadcast traffic supervisor. Pamela Q. Zellers joined the agency's print production department as a senior print production manager. Chris Halas joined the creative department as a copywriter, while Mike Fetrow joined as an art director. In business development, the shop promoted Chaele Cooper to account executive and Tad Greenough to account supervisor and hired George MacDonald as an account supervisor. Erika Graffeo joined the brand planning department as a senior brand planner. The media and media merchandising unit promoted Stacy Wright to media supervisor and added Grechen Easton and Lisa Watts as media supervisors. Lynn Bruni joined GMO as a merchandising supervisor, and Christina Babbits was promoted to media planner. OREGON Sullivan Pattison Clevenger, based in Eugene, hired Michelle Snyder as agency media director. Snyder will work out of the agency's Portland office. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Jennifer Barone was promoted to account executive at Tustin agency TH&M Advertising. She joined the agency two years ago as an account coordinator. Strategies, an agency based in Costa Mesa, named Monique Elliot to an account support position. Bailey/Gardiner Creative Communications in San Diego promoted three employees to the position of account executive: Jeff Carter, Joseph Gerbino and Marlena Reed. David W. Stewart, professor and chairman of the marketing department at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, has been named editor of the Journal of Marketing. His three-year term began July 1. Rogers & Associates, Los Angeles, has hired two new vice presidents, Julie Buckner Levy and Sarah R. Ingham. In their new positions, both Levy and Ingham will oversee public affairs programs and activities for the agency's public- and private-sector clients. Santa Monica agency Colby Effler & Partners hired Christie Birsa as an art director. Gladstone International in Irvine promoted Jason Grange to account supervisor.
