New York
Foote, Cone & Belding, New York, has named Marjorie Porter senior vice president, group manager on the Nabisco business. Porter will focus on SnackWell's and also oversee Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, Newtons and the new Sweet Crispers brand.
Madeleine Miller has joined J. Walter Thompson, New York, as senior partner, worldwide account planning director on the Kellogg's business. Miller had been director of account planning at Grace & Rothschild. The agency also hired Lori Isola as senior partner, group broadcast director in New York. She comes from DDB Needham, New York, where she was vice president, associate director of national broadcast.
Weiss, Whitten, Stagliano, New York, has hired William Livolsi, most recently senior vice president of finance and administration at Serino Coyne in New York, as chief financial officer. The agency also appointed three to the new post of creative supervisor: Jeff Compton, a senior copywriter for the past two years; Mark Mendelis, a copywriter from Deutsch in New York; and Todd Gallentine, an art director, also from Deutsch.
DeWitt Media, New York, has tapped John Gillen as an account supervisor on the Rite Aid business. Gillen was previously an associate media director at Carlson & Partners, New York, where he directed planning for Polo Ralph Lauren and Rembrandt's dental hygiene products.
John Bloom was elevated to senior art director from art director at Harrison Leifer Miller & Speyer, Rockville Centre. Bloom has been with the shop since 1994.
Griffin Bacal, New York, has tapped Keith Vance, formerly management supervisor at Grey Advertising on the Six Flags Theme Parks account, as management supervisor, a new position. Vance will oversee Griffin Bacal's Hasbro Boys Toys, Tonka, Topps and Cool Cow accounts.
Thomas Cook was named executive vice president, creative director at Pedone & Partners, New York. Cook had been senior vice president, group creative director at Deutsch, where he worked on the Bank of America account.

NEW JERSEY
Jack Smeader has joined CCG Marketing Services, Somerville, as vice president, general manager. Smeader was most recently regional controller for Kemper Insurance's commercial lines group in the Eastern U.S.
Keyes Martin Advertising and Public Relations, East Hanover, reported several personnel moves: Jane Richardson was hired as senior media planner, Mary Ann McKay and Craig Franklin were tapped as graphic designers, Patricia Calligaro came aboard as an account executive, Jennifer Rossi was promoted to account executive and Tom Yackiel was elevated to traffic manager.
The Sawtooth Group, Woodbridge, has named Jim Ryan director of computer graphics and has elevated Christina Lin to branding creative supervisor from senior designer.
The Lunar Group, Whippany, has named Alan Posner chief financial officer. Posner had been controller of The MWW Group, an East Rutherford public relations agency.

Pennsylvania
Blattner Brunner, Pittsburgh, has reported two new hires: Lisa Corbett as an account executive and Kim Zbilut as production manager.
Karen Golin was named director, automotive advertising by Mid-Atlantic Newspaper Services, Harrisburg. She had been marketing manager for The Patriot-News, also in Harrisburg.
Jack Rosenberger was hired as Pittsburgh-Allegheny County market manager by TDI. Rosenberger, former marketing director of WPGH-TV, will oversee outdoor ad sales efforts on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus and light-rail system.
