NEW YORK — Modem Media’s third quarter revenues slipped about 17 percent from the same time a year ago and four percent from the second quarter of this year, the i-shop reported Thursday.

Revenues for the third quarter totaled $17.8 million versus $21.5 million for Q3 2001 and $18.5 million for Q2 2002.

Modem Media shut down its Toronto, Munich and Hong Kong outposts in the third quarter. Its remaining offices are Sao Paulo, London and San Francisco, and its Norwalk, Conn.,
