MILWAUKEE – Miller Brewing Co. re-opened its case against Anheuser-Busch claiming trademark infringement of the ‘Great Taste . . . Less Filling’ phrase used in Miller Lite’s advertising. Miller filed suit to block A-B from using the phrase ‘Why Ask Why . . . Try Bud Dry . . . It’s a less fillng beer with a lot more Taste,’ in new ads for Bud Dry. Miller dismissed its first lawsuit on March 12 after receiving a letter from A-B stating that the company ‘does not plan to introduce and ad campaign featuring the tagline ‘Less filling like a light .
