Miller Brewing Co. has dropped J. Walter Thompson from its roster, sources said last week. JWT’s Chicago office handled Miller Genuine Draft and Foster’s Lager. Spending on those brands in 2002 totaled $25 million and $10 million, respectively, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR. MGD creative will likely go to WPP sister shop Ogilvy & Mather in New York and Chicago, sources said. Foster’s is already in review, and M&C Saatchi in New York and Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore.,
