LOS ANGELES–Ex-Sony marketing chief Bob Levin has landed at MGM as president of both worldwide theatrical marketing and distribution, a new post combining two jobs formerly held, respectively, by Gerry Rich and Larry Gleason, who left MGM this week. Levin left Sony last November, after four years there, following an executive shakeout. He worked briefly this year as integrated marketing president at the Creative Domain consultancy.

Before Sony, Levin spent 10 years as worldwide marketing president at Buena Vista Pictures, a division of Disney.
