As it approaches its 10th year in business, the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has hired Cramer-Krasselt for brand development and out-of-market advertising and promotions work.

The Phoenix, Ariz., shop landed the account following a review that included the three-year incumbent, Schadler Kramer Group in Las Vegas, as well as Attik in San Francisco and MMG in Kansas City, Mo., sources said. SKG will continue to handle in-market creative and media.

The MGM Grand, which is a subsidiary of MGM Mirage, spent $7 million on ads last year and nearly $5 million through August of this year, per CMR.
