ATLANTA Medical Hair Restoration launched a national direct response television campaign this week, the company said.

The campaign, which was developed by the Orlando, Fla., company’s in-house creative department, consists of three one-minute ads that are playing on national cable venues including ESPN, VH1, E!, Discovery, Fox News, Animal Planet and Travel Channel.

The spots feature The Hair Dudes, a fictional 1980s rock group that wears spandex and sports big hair. The work parodies other products and services that people use to try to make themselves feel more confident.
