NEW YORK–Joe Ventura has signed on this week with Media Planning Group USA as associate director of business development, reporting to Liz Marks, director of business development. Marks came on board last week from Interpublic Group’s Initiative Media North America.

Ventura, meanwhile, was previously manager of brand and business development at Aegis’ Carat North America. There, his primary duty was drafting new business plans for key clients. Before taking that post, he was an account executive, on a variety of local and national accounts, at Carat USA.
