NORFOLK, VA. – McDonald’s restaurants here are test marketing fried chicken in 88 restaurants, the first marketwide test of the product. Finnegan & Agee, Richmond, masterminded the estimated $2-million product rollout campaign. If the product is successful, it will be offered in other markets and perhaps systemwide. And the agency’s campaign may go with it. ‘I’d venture to say they would use these ads as they go from market to market,’ said Jaie Brown, McDonald’s Norfolk regional marketing manager.
