CHICAGO As part of its ongoing marketing alliance with the Walt Disney Co., McDonald's will promote the upcoming Finding Nemo movie with Happy Meal prizes and a contest involving its advertising.
Television spots touting the promotion will include the address for a hidden Web site. Viewers who log on to the Web site will be entered in a drawing for an all-expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. Leo Burnett in Chicago created the advertising, breaking nationally May 30.
McDonald's and Disney are six years into a 10-year deal that has found the Oak Brook, Ill., chain cross-promoting films from the studio with its kids-oriented Happy Meals.
Finding Nemo, to be released May 30, is a production of Disney and computer animation studio Pixar.
