Lori Senecal, exec utive vice president, group director at McCann-Erickson in New York, who runs Xbox, Labatt and Sprint, has been promoted to director of account management.

She replaces Richard O’Leary, who has moved over to run IPG sibling agency FutureBrand as North America CEO. (FutureBrand is a cor porate-identity agency within McCann’s World Group.)

Senecal continues to report to Eric Keshin, general manager of the $2.7 billion New York office.

“Lori has done an amazing job on every assignment,” Keshin said, “from taking over our telecom account in a crucial period, to bringing in and resuscitating a great beer, to piloting the history-making Xbox launch.”

Senecal’s new responsibilities put her in charge of the 190-person account-management department—more than six times the number of staffers she previously supervised.
