NEW YORK Chris Macdonald has been named CEO of McCann Erickson in London, succeeding Stephen Whyte, who is leaving after nearly four years “to pursue other opportunities,” the agency said in a statement.
“I would like to seek some fresh challenges in my career and, with an outstanding team in place and such strong momentum in the agency, I saw this as the perfect time to move on,” Whyte said in that statement.
Macdonald has been managing director of the shop for the past two years.
