MassMutual Financial Group is mulling four contenders, including long-time incumbent Bozell, for its $15-20 million corporate advertising account.

Attempting to unseat Bozell, New York, are crosstown agencies Lowe Lintas & Partners and Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, as well as Mullen, Wenham, Mass., a MassMutual representative said.

“We regularly examine our business relationships,” the spokesperson said. The Springfield, Mass.-based company is looking for an agency to help the firm grow “from a mutual funds provider into a global financial services company,” the representative said.
