The phrase “sit down to breakfast” sounds quaint in the era of eating and running. One is as likely to speak of “grabbing” breakfast as of “eating” it. But does that reflect breakfast-time reality? A new ABC News poll finds 39 percent of adults usually skip breakfast altogether. But those who eat the morning meal are more likely to say they take their time with it (65 percent) than to say they rush it (34 percent).
