Nourzads has come up with a different angle to sell the University of Wyoming to prospective students.
Rather than showing ivy-covered walls or students crossing the quad, a 30-second television spot depicts a family at the dinner table discussing college prospects.
The father tells the son he cannot spend all his time in the dorm as the ad shows the son mountain-biking. The mother says that it’s a good school, but he’s going to have to work hard as the scene cuts to a riverside field class.
Both parents finally ask whether he is sure he wants to attend as the screen fills with the son’s face painted in the university’s colors.
