Maidenform Seeking Agency for Jumpstart

NEW YORK -- Maidenform is looking for an agency to help restart its advertising, which has been on hiatus since 1999, sources said. Billings are undisclosed, but the bra company's last agency was Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners. Before that, Frierson Mee + Kraft worked on the business, producing a campaign that was tagged, "Perfecting the real you."

The client's headquarters is in Bayonne, N.J., but Nancy McDonald of Maidenform's New York office is managing the process, sources said. She did not return calls seeking comment.

According to CMR, the client spent just $1 million in advertising in 1999 and nothing from 2000 to present.
