NEW YORK Mark Goldstein, global chief marketing officer at Interpublic Group’s Lowe and a larger IPG unit known as The Partnership, has resigned and will leave in about two weeks, Goldstein confirmed on Friday.

Goldstein, 57, who took on the dual role last June, said he had another opportunity that he didn’t want to pass up. “I learned an incredible amount here but there are some things that happen in your life where you’ve got to go for it,” said Goldstein.
