Lincoln Mercury Teams With 'Wheel of Fortune'

DETROIT Ford Motor Co.'s Lincoln Mercury division is partnering with Wheel of Fortune for the "20 Cars in 20 Days" sweepstakes beginning April 24.

The promotional activities mark the television show's 20th anniversary in national syndication and the automaker's 100th anniversary. From April 24 to May 21, Wheel of Fortune viewers will have the chance each night to win one of 20 Lincoln Mercury vehicles by using a puzzle solution given on the show to enter the contest at www.wheeloffortune.com.

The winners of the 10th and 20th vehicles will win a trip to "The Road Is Ours" 100th anniversary celebration on June 14 at Ford headquarters in Dearborn, Mich., where Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White will present them with their prizes.

In addition to the 20 vehicles given away to viewers as part of the sweepstakes, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles will be exclusively featured as prizes to contestants on the show, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television and distributed worldwide by Viacom's King World Productions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
