Mark Breier, CEO of Bay area software company Beyond.com wanted to make a splash during his appearance last week on CNBC’s morning talk show Squawk Box–so he appeared naked.
The reason–as if one were needed!–has to do with Beyond.com’s current TV spots, from Leagas Delaney in San Francisco.
The spots argue that with Beyond.com’s software, you can quit your job and run your own business from home. The point is made with footage of a man working at home in the buff (shown here), where he feels more relaxed.
An average-looking middle-aged computer guy, Breier arrived at the CNBC interview decidedly dressed down: He did the entire show wearing only boxer shorts, giving viewers the impression he was giving them the Full Monty.
