Grasse/Bogusky spat is just silly

This Steven Grasse/Alex Bogusky tempest over handling fast-food accounts vs. cigarette accounts is silly [On the Spot, Sept. 20]. Does anyone in advertising really want to claim the moral high ground on this issue? The task of encouraging potentially bad behavior is endemic to every ad agency’s client list. I would admonish all of us to get off our high horses, except there are no high horses in advertising.
