Thank goodness for the Do Not Call list

For Craig Kleber to try to connect one’s right to enjoy peace in one’s own home to being an enemy of freedom is moronic [“An Enemy of Freedom,” A&C, July 14]. For him to suggest that intrusive telephone calls are the only way that disadvantaged persons can find out about the products they must have is absolutely ludicrous and even borders on being a class-typing slur.

Let’s assume Kleber is correct and that the ranks of telemarketers shrink dramatically now that people are finally able to stop these stupid calls.
