ATLANTA Eisner Communications is launching three new television commercials this week for the Maryland Lottery.

The campaign is designed to increase sales of Lotto tickets when the jackpot is at its lowest level of $1 million. The ads use visual humor to remind people that even the minimum jackpot is “unexpectedly big.”

In one commercial, the viewer sees what appears to be a normal breakfast scene in a suburban kitchen, but one of the people is drinking from an oversize coffee mug.
