A reorganization of the Leo Burnett Technology Group in Chicago that included the departure of the unit’s founder and CEO has left the future of its three satellite offices in question.

Brad Brinegar, Burnett’s U.S. CEO, said it was “too early to plot and predict” what would become of LBTG’s Boston, San Francisco and Austin, Texas, operations. But recent layoffs have hit those offices, particularly Boston, hard.

Former Burnett account director Jeff Jones was named to replace Sean Bisceglia, who founded the forerunner of LBTG in 1991 and sold to Burnett seven years later, only to leave “to pursue other interests” last week, the agency said.
