BOSTON Kelliher Samets Volk takes on “cyber bullies” in a new campaign for wireless service provider Unicel.

The effort, built around the rallying cry “Stand Up!” includes an informational Web site, a 12-page guide for parents and a speaking tour of middle schools nationwide.

“European countries and subsequently young adults and children have been exposed to this sort of SMS [short messaging service] and text-message intimidation for some time,” said Miriam Svobodny, communications manager at Unicel. “We felt it was time to take a stand and offer families in our markets the tools to educate and hopefully prevent cyber bullying of children that occurs via the Internet and cell phones.”
