J. Walter Thompson is expected to land creative and media duties for executive recruitment and management consultancy Spencer Stuart, a global account with billings estimated at $20 million, sources said.
Spencer Stuart, Chicago, held a review in which JWT and Grey Advertising, New York, were finalists, sources said. Two other undisclosed agencies participated in the process, sources said.
A Grey representative could not be reached for comment, and officials at JWT referred calls to the client. A company representative declined comment other than to say a decision had not been reached.
Executives from JWT’s New York and Chicago offices, including New York president Bob Jeffrey, teamed up to pitch the business, according to sources.
