Executives from Johnsonville Sausage will spend next week visiting shops the company is considering for its $5-10 million account.

Competing for the business are Minneapolis agencies Periscope, Kerker and Carmichael Lynch; as well as Barkley Evergreen & Partners in Kansas City, Mo., and D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in St. Louis.

Executives from the Kohler, Wis., company will visit all five shops before making a cut to three finalists. The finalists will be given a strategic project, said Jan Apple, the Minnetonka, Minn.,
