BOSTON The J. Brown Agency said it has named Susan Arditi svp and director of client development.
In this newly created position, Arditi will be responsible for helping guide creative and account groups to build client business. She will be based at the Stamford, Conn. offices of the marketing and promotions shop, and report to Vince Weiner, president of J. Brown.
"Susan brings a true integrated marketing mind-set to J. Brown and has made her mark by pursuing a media-neutral strategy for clients squarely aimed at helping them build business," said Weiner in a statement. "She will be working closely with creative and account teams."
Weiner said Arditi's arrival is part of the agency's ongoing effort to drive greater creative and innovation with clients, building on its naming last month of Victor Mazzeo as chief creative officer.
Key J. Brown clients include Kraft, Dairy Management, Dannon, Bic, FedEx, Rayovac and ABC News. The agency is a unit of WPP Group.
Prior to joining J. Brown, Arditi was a vp and account director at 141 Worldwide, where she managed integrated accounts for Brown & Williamson, Allied Domecq, Schieffelin & Somerset, Unilever, Net2Phone, Parmalat and the Department of Defense. Her team rolled out the first national campaign for Sauza Tequila.
