BOSTON The J. Brown Agency said it has promoted Vince Weiner to the new post of executive vice president of business development, with responsibilities across the agency's four offices in Stamford, Conn., Chicago, Dallas and Cincinnati.

Weiner was president of J. Brown's Stamford office, where he is succeeded by Mike Scheiner and Susan Arditi, who were named managing directors.

"Vince has consistently identified major opportunities and grown our business among our signature clients, tapping whatever resources are needed across Grey Global Group and WPP Group," said Tim Dorgan, CEO of J. Brown, in a statement. (J. Brown is affiliated with Grey.)

"I look forward to working closely with Tim to replicate the success model across our entire organization that we've been able to achieve in Stamford," said Weiner. "There are incredible resources, talent and expertise within the Grey Global Group network which we can put to work to benefit our largest clients."

Scheiner had been executive creative director and Arditi was senior vice president, director of client development. Both joined J. Brown last year.
