Hey, even some statues want to have fun.

A new TV spot for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, by McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver, touts the restaurant chain’s limited-time “Tiki Time” promotion with a statue of a frowning Tiki god who kvetches about his job.

“See this face?” he complains, mouth unmoving, as percussive music plays in the background. “This is my overworked, stressed-out face. Stop the volcanoes, save the village. It never ends.”

The voiceover then touts “Tiki Time” at the restaurants, where one may enjoy treats such as the signature Teriyaki Chicken Burger, as well as a chance to win a trip to Tahiti.

At the end, the Tiki god still wears the same frown.
