Ingalls Quinn & Johnson was once a fixture on the New England agency scene. The Boston-based shop could trace its ancestry back a century and went through numerous metamorphoses, shuffling management and monikers at a furious pace. Ingalls crested in the 1990s under chairman and CEO Bink Garrison and president Steve Connelly, working at various times for clients such as The Boston Globe, Converse and T.J. Maxx. At one point, Ingalls ranked No.2 behind only Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos among the region’s largest shops.
