WASHINGTON — Ogilvy & Mather, N.Y., was one of nearly a dozen large shops and their media partners to attend a bidder’s conference Thursday for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy’s $150-million anti-drug media campaign.
The list also includes Bates, Grey, Foote, Cone & Belding, MediaCom Grey, McCann-Erickson, MindShare, Saatchi & Saatchi and Zenith Media, all New York; Initiative Media North America, Los Angeles; Leo Burnett, Chicago; and Starcom, Chicago.
ONDCP decided to rebid its contract in August after its lead agency, Ogilvy, became the subject of a Department of Justice probe over its billing practices.
