Goodby, Silverstein & Partners uses its 2-year-old “+HP” umbrella campaign to target small businesses for the first time today with a print effort touting the benefits of using Hewlett-Packard technology to help run a restaurant and a seagoing English rescue operation.

The first ad, running in national publications such as USA Today and Time, reveals how Las Vegas restaurant Charlie Palmer’s Aureole uses HP tablet PCs to help patrons navigate its 60,000-bottle wine list.

“Wine and technology, an unlikely pairing,” the copy begins, beneath a photo of a well-dressed couple standing at the base of Aureole’s 42-foot wine tower.
