PG&E Launches Agency Search
SAN FRANCISCO–Pacific Gas & Electric, San Francisco, has kicked off an agency search for its estimated $10 million ad account, which has been handled by McCann-Erickson’s San Francisco office for more than 20 years. Lee Ann Morgan of New York consultancy The Partnership has been hired to conduct the review, which will likely involve only California shops and is expected to wrap up by year’s end. Ron Benza, president of McCann’s office here, said his shop will participate in the review and “prove to PG&E that they’ve already got the right [agency].”
