Fallon in NationsBank, BofA Review
DALLAS--Sources said Fallon McElligott of Minneapolis is among the agencies competing for the $80-100 million consolidated account of NationsBank and Bank of America. The shop declined to comment. Fallon joins previously identified contenders Bozell Worldwide, Lowe & Partners/SMS and Saatchi & Saatchi, all New York; Temerlin McClain, Irving, Texas; and Deutsch, New York and Marina del Rey, Calif. The merger of the two banks will be finalized next month.

Levenson Will Not Defend Fina
DALLAS--Levenson & Hill chairman Bill Hill confirmed last week that the shop has dropped out of the estimated $1 million account review for Fina Oil & Chemical here. The Dallas agency headed marketing and advertising for the petroleum company for 15 years. Carla Holmes Meadows, Fina's general manager of corporate communications and public affairs, declined to discuss the review or name contenders. A request for proposals issued in August indicated presentations would take place in late August or early September. No decision date was given.

Marc USA Acquires Chicago Agency
CHICAGO--Marc USA of Pittsburgh has acquired the $50 million Keroff & Rosenberg here and renamed it K&R/Marc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Marc earlier this year merged with Larkin, Meeder & Schweidel in Dallas (now LMS/Marc). Marc chairman Tony Bucci said he plans acquisitions next in San Francisco, followed by Boston and Seattle, to build the $280 million agency network.

Fibercast Taps Triad for Trade Campaign
DALLAS--Triad Business Marketing in Dallas was hired by Tulsa, Okla.-based Fibercast Co. to develop trade advertising and print collateral materials. An agency representative said account billings would be in the mid-six-figure range. Fibercast, a subsidiary of Seattle-based Denali Inc., is a manufacturer of fiberglass piping systems.

Montemayor Wins White Wings Flour
DALLAS--Montemayor y Asociados in San Antonio was assigned Hispanic advertising for Pioneer Flour Mills' White Wings brand after a review of undisclosed shops. Billings were undisclosed. Agency president Carlos Montemayor said his shop will develop Spanish-language print and radio ads. San Antonio-based Pioneer distributes products in 28 states.

Kahlœa Lands at BBDO in Chicago
CHICAGO--Allied Domecq has awarded the $12 million account for its Kahlœa brand liqueur to BBDO here, according to sources. Incumbent Lois/EJL in Chicago and Square One in Dallas, the latter eliminated earlier, were the other finalists. Allied Domecq said no decision had been made; the agencies involved declined comment or could not be reached.
